OUR
BELIEFS
Statement of Faith
GOD AND THE HUMAN RACE
-
We believe in the eternal unity of God: the Father, the Son, Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit, one God.
-
We acknowledge God's creation of humanity in his own image, creatures who sinned and came under his just and holy judgment.
-
We believe the supreme demonstration of the Father's love is that he gave Jesus Christ, his only Son, for our salvation and that salvation is received by grace through faith in Christ alone.
-
We confess Jesus Christ as Lord and God, the eternal Son of the Father; as truly human, who was born of the virgin Mary; as Servant, sinless and full of grace and truth; as only Mediator and Saviour of the whole world, who atoned for our sin by dying on the cross in the sinners' place, representing humanity to God and redeeming believers from the grip, guilt and punishment of sin; as the Second Adam, the head of a new humanity, he overcame death and decay, rose from the dead with a glorious body, was taken up to be with the Father and one day will return personally in glory and judgment to establish his kingdom; as Victor over Satan and all his forces.
-
We believe in the Holy Spirit who, with the Father and the Son, is worthy of our worship, who convicts the world of guilt in regard to sin, righteousness and judgment, who makes the death of Christ effective to sinners, who, through the new birth, unites us with Christ, who sets apart and empowers the Christian and who imparts spiritual gifts to the church.
THE SCRIPTURES
-
We believe that the Old and New Testament Scriptures are God-breathed because their writers spoke from God. Rightly interpreted, they are fully trustworthy in all that they affirm, and as the Word of God, they are our supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
THE CHURCH AND ITS MISSION
-
We recognise the Church as the body of Christ, of which he is the head.
-
We accept the purposes of the Great Commandment and the Great Commission
-
To magnify God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit in worship and prayer
-
To bring people to personal faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and through believer's baptism into Christian fellowship as committed members of his church
-
To grow members to maturity, especially through the discipling processes of small groups and various training opportunities
-
To release people in ministry, loving and serving God and people according to gifts and abilities
-
To send out and support our people in mission
-
To encourage the multiplication of every gift and ministry, until Jesus Christ comes again to judge the living and the dead, bringing eternal life to the redeemed and eternal judgement to the lost
Prayer wheel
A Prayer for Unity in Marriage
Heavenly Father we come before you to thank you for all you have done and continue to do in our lives and marriage. We come before you today, God, asking for a stronger bond of unity in our marriage covenant.
Father we ask that you will give us the ability to be a united front for you letting nothing come between us. Help us, Father to identify and work through anything that is not pleasing to you so we can continually reach higher levels of unity in our marriage – spiritually, physically, and mentally.
We are thankful and excited to see the work of your hand as we do our best to seek your face daily. We love you and thank you for all of these things. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen!
Short Prayer for a loved one that passed away
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May father/mother/brother/sister/friend rest in peace.
Lord God above, we, Your humble children kneel before you today in reverence. We know You’re the greatest and You’re the king of all kings. So, we pray You uplift our heart and soul so that we may cast away our sorrows oh Lord. Give us the strength to surpass this situation. No one dies without Your say-so and thus, we rejoice over this triumph and we pray You be with our deceased father/mother/brother/sister/friend. We thank you for the answered prayer and in Jesus name, Amen.
May the light of Jesus and Salvation to my father/mother/relative / friend. May they rest in peace knowing that his soul belongs to GOD and GOD only. No demon, no devil, no principality, no evil spirit has access to his light and salvation. We love you and one day soon we will see you in HEAVEN!

A New Baby Is Born
You have chosen this day as the day my baby will be born. Thank you for bringing me to this point in time and for your perfect plan for the hours ahead.
Lord, I praise you for loving me and my baby. Each moment ahead of us is being cradled in Your good hands. May I not forget that.
Help me to not be anxious. Remove from me a heart of fear and replace it with Your peace that passes all understanding! Hold my hand and lead me.
Please allow me to have endurance that comes from you, and keep me safe. Watch over my baby and allow him/her to be born under the best of circumstances.
May Your will be done, Lord. Give me a sense of calm and purpose as I go through labor and delivery.
I know that physical pain can overwhelm me. Help me to cling to You and look forward to the joy ahead when I see my little baby for the first time.
Give skill and wisdom to the doctors, nurses, and staff that will be taking care of me today. Allow them to be kind and helpful and enable me and my family members to bless them too.
Thank you for this new life that you have knit together in my womb so perfectly. Whatever happens, I know that we are all fearfully and wonderfully made. May I feel your presence today in new and excellent ways. I know that You never leave me or forsake me.
I give this baby to You. May my son/daughter grow up to follow You all the days of his/her life and guide me with wisdom as his/her mother from this first moment on.
